Overview

Credit risk management was already facing a series of challenges coming up to the Covid-19 crisis.  These included the implementation of IFRS 9 as well as changes in customer behaviour due to increased use of technology and AI.

The current crisis has created a much higher level of change, often magnifying the impact of trends that were already evident in the business cycle.

The challenge to firms is to consider the impacts that these changes are likely to make and to consider these in the context of the future sustainability of their business.

During this new course delegates will learn the key issues which arise from the 2020-2021 crisis and explore the actions and solutions available, looking at the key modelling techniques that are applied within credit risk and what banks will need to address during their  credit model validation and  recalibrations.

"Great impact in executing my duties as member of the Board of Directors of a finance/bank corporation."
Board Member, European Bank, Cyprus
