Understanding Banking, the Associated Risks and How to Control Them
Course Description
The financial services industry represents a challenge to internal auditors - there is the language to understand and the complexity of the products to deal with. This course is specifically designed to provide internal auditors with the key skills that they require prior to commencing internal auditing assignments within financial service institutions. Looking at the various different components of the banking industry, the course considers the internal audit approaches that would be appropriate in each case and assists delegates to design suitable internal audit programmes.
Within this 5-day intensive course the delegates will address each of the key areas of banking including retail banking, corporate banking, trade finance, e-banking and derivative activities.
