Risk Reward is delighted to be able to offer Investment Management Certificate (IMC) exam preparation courses through our strategic partnership with Quartic.

The IMC, administered by CFA Society UK, is one of the most widely recognised financial qualifications in the UK and is an approved threshold competency examination by the Financial Conduct Authority. Currently held by over 15,000 professionals, the IMC is the investments industry's entry level benchmark qualification for the investment professions.

IMC candidates come from a diverse background and the IMC is generally considered appropriate for anyone entering an investment-related role. The IMC also provides the ideal foundation for those with future plans for the CFA® Program, as IMC candidates cover some 30% of the CFA Level I curriculum.

There are two units, Investment Environment (IE) and Investment Practice (IP), which are assessed separately. IE focuses mainly on regulations, whereas IP explores different asset classes and mathematical concepts.

You will learn about the financial markets, regulations, accounting, economics and financial maths.

No formal prerequisites are required. However, if you come from a non-financial background, it is recommended to consider taking an introductory financial maths or accounting course before you start your studies.
